Cote de Pablo's First Day on 'NCIS'

By

NCIS started its 11th season with a bang on CBS, with TV's No. 1 show making a major change with the departure of the beloved Cote de Pablo, who plays Ziva David. Eight years ago, ET was with the Chilean actress on her very first day on set, and she shared some of the challenges she faced and her hopes for joining the cast of the top-rated show.

Cote had to learn some believable Hebrew in just a few days for her character, a Mossad agent, and other challenges included learning to roll with co-star Michael Weatherly's on-set antics, already starting on that first day.

On Cote's last episode, airing tonight, fans finally get that passionate kiss they've been waiting for between Ziva and Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo, and although her character is departing, she's not being killed off. Phew!
