'Long Island Medium' Talks Communing With The Dead

Theresa Caputo, star of TLC's reality series Long Island Medium, has made a name for herself psychically communing with the recently deceased, and now has released a book titled There's More To Life Than This.

According to Caputo, her gift has been with her since a very early age, and didn't originally even know she was special.

"I thought it was normal to sit and see people speak to me, talk to me, walk by, that really weren't in the room," Caputo tells ET. "That’s the way I grew up. I used to always tell my mom 'I don't feel right. I don't feel normal. I feel different than everyone else.'"

Her show Long Island Medium, which follows her life as she deals with her gifts, has been a hit for TLC, and her fan base has grown immensely during the show's run.

"I'm very blessed and very fortunate, but I don't look at where I am today as success, I look at it as a blessing, to be able to help people," Caputo said.
