Although one of the moonshiners, Tim, has been long involved in the production of moonshine, he reveals in Tuesday's Season 3 premiere that he wants out of the illegal moonshine business and plans to embark on a career in legal alcohol production.
Having already decided to make the transition, Tim opts to transfer his business over to his close associate, Tickle.
"I feel like you've been working you me a long time and you always knew...my next move—I didn't have to tell you," Tim tells him as he entrusts him as leader of his moonshining operation. "...I'd rather for you to take it than anybody else take it."

Without hesitation, a placid but honored Tickle accepts Tim's proposal.
"It's a big responsibility, but I definitely want it," he assures Tim. "I'm proud that you chose me to hand this off to."
