It's a 'Love Boat' Reunion on 'The Talk'
The Love Boat stars Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, Lauren Tewes and Jill Whelan looked back on the success of the show today on The Talk.

"I didn't even think we'd get through the pilot," said Fred Grandy, revealing his surprise at the program's longevity. "The critics hated it. They said it would sink like the Titanic."
The Love Boat proved Grandy and the critics wrong when it started beating out the competition in the ratings wars and went on to become one of TV's most iconic shows ever.
Still, not all of the cast shared Grandy's skepticism. Gavin MacLeod proudly proclaimed that he believed in the show "from the first reading."
