'The Bible' Delivers for History

History's miniseries, The Bible (produced by Mark Burnett and wife Roma Downey), drew record-setting ratings for the cable channel in March, and we're looking back at Nancy O'Dell's sit-downs with the cast.

"When the pain starts to kick in, I was just weeping," said Diogo Morgado, who played Jesus in the TV event. "This project changed my life and I'm 100% sure that it will change people's lives."

The series certainly seemed to strike a chord, as the premiere episodes garnered more than 27 million viewers.

The passion project was four years in the making, originating with an idea from Roma.

"They are great stories," said Roma, who plays Mary, mother of Jesus, in later years. "It begins with a story. It's so amazing. We also wanted to bring the series to the screen and fresh visual ways for this generation."
