On the show, Serch helps regular people resolve personal problems in their life and relationships. What the 46-year-old rapper lacks in formal training, he makes up for in life experience and candid, unfiltered advice.

"I'm pretty level-headed," Serch told ET's Rocsi Diaz when asked why people should listen to his opinion. "I know right and wrong, and I have an idea of how to help conflict."

The daily, hour-long show is currently in a four-week test run exclusively on Tribune Broadcasting stations including WPIX, New York; KTLA, Los Angeles; WPHL, Philadelphia; KDAF, Dallas; WDCW, Washington DC; WSFL, Miami; WXIN, Indianapolis; and KSWB, San Diego.

As a veteran of the music business, MC Serch also gave advice for embattled stars Kanye West and Justin Bieber.

"I would tell Kanye to get the chip off his shoulder," said Serch. "I don't think the world is against him the way he thinks it is. I think people really want to root for him. I think that he's so brilliant and so creative that sometimes that gets in his own way."

As far as Justin Bieber goes, Serch told Rocsi Diaz, "I would tell him to not do graffiti ever. He's wack ... But besides that he's an artist that is growing ... He has tremendous talent."
