If you're a fan of Friday Night Lights, Esquire Network's new 10-part docu-series might be your new favorite show. Friday Night Tykes takes viewers into the hyper-competitive world of youth football in San Antonio, Texas.

The show follows five teams, comprised of players between the ages eight and nine years old, who battle it out on the field under the watchful, often aggressive eyes of parents and coaches.

However, the show explores many of the questions and concerns brought up by the youth league. Concerns about overly-competitive parents, children's safety and the question of whether the mentality of winning-above-all-else is healthy for young athletes.
