After 13 seasons of American Idol, the show has seen a lot of different faces, both in the contestants that sing their hearts out, as well as the judges themselves. But one stalwart member of the show, since the very beginning, has been host Ryan Seacrest.
So the question becomes, after over a decade, is Seacrest's retirement from the popular singing competition possibly on the horizon? ET's Rocsi Diaz was at FOX's red carpet American Idol screening, and got Ryan to open up about his plans for the future.
"Ryan, people are asking others when they're going to retire, are you going to retire anytime soon?" Rocsi asked the 39-year-old Seacrest.
"I'm just getting started, I hope," Seacrest exclaimed, as his American Idol co-stars and judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. nodded in support. "I'm re-energized this season."
"We were just talking about how fun it is to be on the show together," he continued. "This is such a great show, it's such a big franchise, and to get a chance to show it to everybody tonight, and this week, is something we've been waiting for."
The eager presenter seemed dedicated to his post, and it looks like, if Ryan has his way, he'll be hosting this hit singing competition for many seasons to come.
