The original Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, and husband Ryan Sutter renewed their wedding vows on Saturday, but only ET's cameras captured the incident that almost brought the ceremony to a halt.
Due to a miscommunication over the vows, the couple found themselves in a tiff about who was saying what.
"I thought we decided at the counter not to do [vows] period?" said Trista, 41. "I didn't bring mine. I left them because we said we weren't going to do them."
"I don't remember having that conversation," said Ryan, 39, who was planning on reading his original vows. "I thought we just weren't writing new ones."
Fortunately, the couple hashed out their disagreement before the event, meeting in the middle.
"For me it's going to be more off the cuff," Trista said. "Marriage is all about compromise."
