The countdown to Sunday's Super Bowl XLVIII is on! For some, it's all about the game -- Seattle Seahawks vs. Denver Broncos -- for some it's about the commercials -- many of which you can already see online -- and for many it's all about the Halftime Show! This year, Bruno Mars is performing, with The Red Hot Chili Peppers invited to join him. Watch the press conference with Bruno and National Anthem singer Renee Fleming to see what's in store -- and what Bruno's biggest challenge may be!
Bruno got a little surprise when Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child (who got on stage with Beyonce a year ago) stood up from the audience to ask a question, and asked if he expected any surprises. "Um, it's cold, that's the surprise," responded the R&B singer from Hawaii. "The microphone turns into a popsicle."
The Grammy winner added that he was "honored" to be asked to perform, "because some greats have been on that stage, and we're just excited that we're getting this shot." Artists that have performed during the Super Bowl halftime in recent years have included Paul McCartney, The Black Eyed Peas, Aerosmith, U2, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Prince and Madonna.
The NFL's Super Bowl XLVIII show begins Sunday, February 2, at 3:30 PM Eastern on FOX from the MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey.
