In preparation for the upcoming mid-season premiere of AMC's megahit horror drama The Walking Dead, AMC decided to pull a terrifying little prank on the pedestrians of New York City.
In this inventive prank video, fifteen zombies, in professionally applied effects makeup, hide beneath a subway grate in the middle of Union Square. When someone walks over the grate, the unsuspecting bystander is in for a startling surprise.
The Walking Dead returns this Sunday, February 9 at 9/8c on AMC.
