Are they or aren't they? Amid breakup rumors, actress Eva Mendes showed up on Ellen DeGeneres' Wednesday show and made a little joke about Ryan Gosling's most famous romantic movie.
When asked how she was spending Valentine's Day, Eva responded, "I'm not a big Valentine's Day person. I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch The Notebook or something."
The 2004 Nicholas Sparks' book-turned-movie stars Ryan, 33, and his ex Rachel McAdams, 35, and follows the emotional love story of a couple as they grow old together. Eva added jokingly of her Valentine's Day, "[I'll] just cry, weep."
Ellen followed up that question by asking the 39-year-old actress if she wanted to address the rumors that she's pregnant. "No! ...But, this all started ...it's so ridiculous. Because it all started because I was didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport," she explained. "You know those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy. They basically see you naked, right. And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out. I always ask for a personal pat down..."
The talk-show host still asked Eva to clarify whether she was expecting. "Oh god, no, no, no. No!" she said.
The Beyond The Pines star was on the show to promote her new clothing line at New York & Company.
