'The Chew' Host Daphne Oz Reveals Baby Name

UPDATE: During a taping of The Chew on Tuesday, Daphne Oz appeared on the show via Skype to announce that she and her husband, John Jovanovic, have named their daughter Philomena Bijou Jovanovic. During the chat, Daphne said the couple is already referring to the baby as "Philo," and she also talked about the blessings and challenges of being a new mom. The show will air Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 noon, PT on ABC.

Daphne Oz -- a co-host on ABC's daytime culinary show The Chew and the daughter of medical talk show host Dr. Mehmet Oz -- has given birth to her first child.

A statement from ABC said Daphne welcomed the baby girl Wednesday, February 26 in a New York City hospital. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.

"Mom and baby are doing very well. We feel so blessed," said John. It is the first grandchild for Dr. Oz and his wife, Lisa.

Daphne first revealed she was expecting during the Season 3 premiere of The Chew last September and she's currently on maternity leave until a planned return to the show in late April.
