Prince Reveals Big Announcement On 'Arsenio'

Published

For the second night in a row The Arsenio Hall Show was full of massive surprises. Last night, Jay Leno made his first television appearance since his tenure at The Tonight Show ended to surprise Arsenio with the news that the syndicated show has been picked up for a second season, and today it was revealed that legendary recording artist Prince is taking over the show for a night on March 5.

Prince's "letter-bearing clone" came on stage and surprised Arsenio with a white envelope, just like Leno did the night before. Only this time, the letter wasn't from CBS with good news, it was from Prince, saying that he wanted to make a rare late-night appearance and performance on The Arsenio Hall Show.

It was revealed that Prince will be the only guest on Wednesday, March 5. He will perform a number of songs and also sit down with Arsenio for a face-to-face interview.
