Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is bringing his star power to NBC's singing competition The Voice to advise the show's coaches in a rebooted round of performances.

For the first time on the show, Martin will serve as an adviser to all four coaching teams in a newly created portion of the show called The Battles: Round Two, which replaces the former Knockout Rounds.

In the new format, the remaining artists from each team -- all previous
winners and stolen artists -- will face off by singing the same song.
