Obama Makes Out With Bieber On 'SNL'

NBC

In an effort to reach the youth on social media, SNL's Obama is willing to do almost anything.

On last night's Saturday Night Live cold open, the sketch comedy show finally got around to poking fun at the president for his "new media" attempts at reaching out to young adults in an effort to get them to sign up for healthcare, including appearing on Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis.

So how does SNL's President Obama, played by cast member Jay Pharoah, plan on getting 10 million young people to sign up in 48 hours? By wearing Pharrell's bizarrely tall hat and smoking an e-cig in an Instagram photo, then taking a selfie to rival Ellen's with Kim Kardashian (Nasim Pedrad), Harry Styles (Brooks Wheelan), the internet sensation Batkid, and a cat dressed up like Elsa from Frozen.

To up the ante, Obama's social media managers (Taran Killam and Noel Wells) get Pope Francis (Kyle Mooney) and the president to take a Vine video of them dancing the nae nae, and really getting down.

And finally, in the best impression of the night, and possibly the best impression currently being done on SNL, out comes a very energetic Justin Bieber, (played brilliantly by Kate McKinnon), and after a bit of coaxing, the two share a deep, long kiss. It's a sight you will only ever see on SNL.
