Beverly Hills, 90210
star Shannen Doherty sat down with Aresenio Hall on Thursday, and addressed her former co-star Jason Priestley's comments about her in his memoir. She also tacked on some advice for her other co-star Tori Spelling, who's broadcasting her marital problems on her reality show True Tori.

When asked what she would say to Spelling if she were listening, Doherty doled out some supportive advice. "Love yourself," said the 43-year-old actress. "We're in a really harsh business where people tear you apart every single day. You always question yourself. You look in the mirror and you don't see somebody beautiful. I just hope that Tori loves herself, because I think she should. She's a beautiful girl and she needs to ignore the haters."

Doherty knows a thing or two about people trying to tear her down. In Priestly's upcoming memoir, the actor, who played Doherty's twin brother Brandon Walsh on 90210, has a number of stories that could cast a pall over the former co-star's friendship.

"I could not believe my ears at Shannen's very first words after she boarded," Priestley recalls in his book of the duo's work travels. "Her butt had barely hit her seat before she said loudly to the PR person, 'Really? A town car? You send a town car to take me to the airport, not a limo?' She sighed a very put-upon sigh. I laughed, as I couldn't really tell if Shannen was kidding or not."

Priestley goes onto write, "But that was just the beginning. I looked on, becoming more uneasy by the minute as she began b**ching about the short notice and the food on board and the temperature in the cabin and everything else."

"It was so long ago, honestly I would have to refer to the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of journals I have of every single day, taking account of everything that happened," Doherty reacted to the memoir. "But I don't know. I always say that everybody had their own version of the truths and memories are very funny things."
