Kate Gosselin Reveals Strict Parenting Style in Sneak Peek of 'Kate Plus 8'

Kate Gosselin announced earlier this year that she and her eight children would be making their first return to television in two years in a new special airing next month on TLC. Now in a first look of the special Kate Plus 8 unveiled via People magazine, Kate reveals her tough love strategy to deal with her brood of eight children who are growing up fast.

The show focuses on how Kate's children have coped with growing up in the spotlight of their hugely popular TLC show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which culminated in 2009 with the breakup of Kate's marriage to her husband Jon. The show was later re-branded Kate Plus 8 without Jon, but was cancelled in 2011.

In the Kate Plus 8 special-- airing Wednesday June 25 at 9 p.m. on TLC -- viewers will get an update on the current lives of the couple's 10-year-old sextuplets -- Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel
-- as well as 13-year-old twin girls Mady and Cara.

"We're back!" the kids say into the camera in the teaser clip. "A lot has changed since you last have been here. It's all still happening with or without cameras. We've all been through a lot, we've learned what's important," Kate says in the sneak peek.

"And I'm getting older, tireder, more worn out. The kids are getting
older and smarter...They are giving me a run for my money, daily and
hourly and moment by moment," she adds. The clip reveals that she's not afraid to send any of the kids off to their room if they disobey -- and also confiscate their electronic devices for bad behavior. "I got those girls cell phones and iPads so that I could take them away," she says.
