After a life of being sheltered by religious parents, this Amish woman doesn't know what to expect when she gives birth.
TLC is bringing you back into the world of the formerly Amish young adults in their new Breaking Amish spin-off Return to Amish, and chronicles how their lives have changed since they left their religious roots and communities behind.
Things have definitely changed for Sabrina High, who is now pregnant, and feels that she is incredibly unprepared for giving birth.
"I'm really excited to have my own baby, but at the same time I'm nervous because I've never been through it before," said Sabrina.
Aside from just being nervous, Sabrina has also been shunned by her family for getting pregnant out of wedlock, and she also doesn't understand the science and medicine behind her pregnancy.
"My body is going through all these changes, and I have no idea what's going on," she reveals. "My mom never talked to me about sex, she never talked to me about babies. I thought babies came out of a woman's bellybutton. Like, I thought the bellybutton opened up and the baby came out."
