Eric Dane aka Dr. McSteamy has traded his Grey's Anatomy scrubs for military fatigues in his new TNT series The Last Ship, which debuts on Sunday. Eric gives ET's Brooke Anderson a special tour of the epic set.
Following the recent ratings success of Major Crimes, which just returned for its third season, TNT is hoping lightning strikes twice with their latest project. And so far they've got the keys to a great show. The first of course is landing a smoking leading man in Dane. But does the former Grey's hunk get tired of the McSteamy references?
"No. That nickname got me here," Eric tells Brooke.
The second key to the buzz around The Last Ship is Michael Bay. Hollywood's top action producer is at the helm of the series bringing the big action moments of the show to life.
"If you're going to shoot action sequences, Michael Bay is the go-to guy," Eric says.
