NBC Announces Miley Cyrus Documentary

NBC is set to air a two-hour documentary special starring Miley Cyrus, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The special, named Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour, will reportedly feature behind-the-scenes and live performance footage from the 21-year-old's upcoming concerts in Barcelona, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal.

The network released a statement to EW, saying that the special will "examine what makes [Miley] such a global phenomenon."
Miley's last album, Bangerz, has already gone platinum since its October release. Her Bangerz Tour kicked off February 14 in Vancouver.
Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour is set to air Sunday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
