'Welcome to Sweden': Everything You Need to Know About Amy Poehler's Brother and His New Show!

Come for the Poehlers-stay for the Swedish insults.

Did you know that there is another hilarious actor in the Poehler family tree?

Amy Poehler's brother, Greg Poehler, is using his real life as inspiration and created the smart new comedy series Welcome to Sweden.

The summer show, which premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on NBC, stars Amy's big brother as Bruce, a Ney York City accountant who quits his job and takes a leap of love by moving to Sweden to live with his girlfriend, Emma, played by Josephine Bornebusch.

The classic fish-out-of-water tactic is nothing new on the small screen, however the comedy features unique twist: Most of the jokes are in Swedish! That's right, where there aren't A-listers like Amy Poehler or Will Ferrell popping up in a scene, the series features many characters who drift in and out of speaking Swedish—mostly at Bruce's expense.
