The fourth season of the mega-hit anthology series American Horror Story is currently in production, and earlier today co-creator Ryan Murphy teased two of the season's most talked-about characters, Dot and Bettie, the conjoined twins.

AHS veteran Sarah Paulson actually plays both characters using a mix of practical physical effects make-up and CGI.
The upcoming season, set in 1950, follows Jessica Lange as a freak show manager who takes her touring performers to Jupiter, Florida. The cast includes Kathy Bates Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Denis O'Hare, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Michael Chiklis and Gabourey Sidibe.
Paulson actually revealed the news of her playing conjoined twins when she tweeted the news last month.
American Horror Story: Freak Show is set to premiere in October 2014.
