'Sons of Anarchy' Creator Gives Prequel Update

The Sons of Anarchy series might be coming up on its final season, but the story will live on.

During the FX show's Comic-Con panel, creator Kurt Sutter revealed that the franchise is expanding. SOA will become a series of books "that will live in our mythology but not impact things that happened [in the show]," Entertainment Weekly reports. The first in the series, coming out in November, is titled Bratva and will be set after the season 4 events between Jax, Opie and Chibs and the Russians.

Not only that, Sutter also revealed that he's taking a note from Breaking Bad and is still working on a prequel to his wildly popular motorcycle show. Like Bad's Better Call Saul, EW notes that the spinoff would "be about origins, and involve John Teller and Piney Winston."

The panel kept mum otherwise about the possible prequel, but it will surely give SOA fans something to look forward as they head into season 7.
