Things are getting hot in the Young and Hungry kitchen!
Swoon-worthy singer, Jesse McCartney is ditching his mic, and donning some glasses for a geeky new role in tonight's all-new episode of the hit ABC Family comedy. The "Beautiful Soul" singer is stepping back into his acting roots (Who remembers/loved him on The WB's Summerland?!) to play Gabi's (Emily Osment) new love interest.
In "Young & Punchy," Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) wants to hire computer genius Cooper Finley (McCartney), but an awkward incident with Gabi (Osment) leads Josh to punching Cooper rather than hiring him. Yikes!

Now Gabi is determined to make things right between them, leading to a different kind of spark between her and Cooper. We told you things were getting hot in here!

Fun-Fact: This is not the first time McCartney and Osment have shared the small screen together. The pop singer played himself—aka a teen heartthrob—in the second season of Hannah Montana in 2007.
