The unprecedented episode will feature two live performances from some of your favorite Music City characters, and get this—they will truly be live. Fans on the east and central coasts will enjoy the first set of unique live renditions, and then when it comes time for the west coast to join in on the country music fun, the Nashville stars will perform live for a second time.

The performances, which will be broadcast directly from the Bluebird Café set, will feature Will Lexington (Chris Carmack) singing "If It's Love" written by The Striking Matches, and the second by Deacon Claybourne (Charles Esten) singing "I Know How To Love You Now,” co-written by Esten and Deana Carter.

To make matters even better, the studio tracks and live rendition of the songs will be immediately available for fans to download on iTunes following the episode.

This will be the first time in TV history that a scripted drama has attempted this musical feat—but we know that if any series could pull it off, it would definitely be Nashville.

Don’t miss the live musical performances when Nashville's third season premieres Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
