ET caught up with the Teen Wolf star before he hosts Sunday's Teen Choice Awards.
Tyler Posey is gearing up to host this Sunday's Teen Choice Awards and ET caught up with the star at Dockweiler State Beach in California before the big night.
"They made a great choice," Posey says of his hosting gig. "I think I'm going to be great for the show, the show's going to be good for me, it's just perfect."
On a night filled with huge stars of TV and film as well as live performances by MAGIC! and Rixton, how does Tyler plan to keep the energy going?
"I may throw in a poop joke," he admits. "I want to begin the show with a song. I just thought of this I haven't really discussed anything with the producers yet."

Posey won a Teen Choice surfboard last year for his role on Teen Wolf, as did the show which is currently in its fourth season. Both are hoping to clinch another win this year in the categories of Choice Summer TV Star: Male and Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, respectively.
But when he isn't prepping for his hosting gig, Tyler is planning for another big night. The 22-year-old is set to marry his longtime girlfriend Seana Gorlick later this year. The couple began dating at age 11.
"The wedding planning has been awesome and intense, and stressful and perfect, and everything is just the way that it should be," he tells ET. "I love it."
