The late Brittany Murphy is getting her own Lifetime film.

A two-hour television movie titled The Brittany Murphy Story will air on Saturday, September 6 on Lifetime, the network announced Tuesday.

The movie will cover everything from Murphy and her mother's efforts to break into the business in her younger years, and will lead up to her death and the aftermath.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sharon Murphy has not consulted with the movie or cooperated with production in any way.

Murphy passed away on December 20, 2009 at the Los Angeles home that she shared with her husband Simon Monjack. Though the Los Angeles County coroner stated that the primary cause of her death was pneumonia, Sharon later claimed that toxic mold was the cause after Monjack passed away in May of 2010 at the same Hollywood Hills home they previously shared.
