This Labor Day, Lifetime will air The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, a highly anticipated TV-movie set to reveal what really happened behind the scenes of the beloved 90's show through the eyes of the man behind Screech, Dustin Diamond.
This alone makes us doubtful -- We all remember Diamond's tell-all book "Behind the Bell," chopped full of on-set drama rumors.
According to Lifetime, the TV-movie will be independent of the book, but that doesn't mean Diamond won’t have any say – He is after all an executive producer.
We were with the original cast of the show on set back in 1989, and they were having a blast! Sorry, but after watching this – We just can't buy what the movie is selling.
You can judge for yourself by watching the biopic Monday at 9pm on Lifetime.
In the meantime, check out the video above to see the young cast having a great time together on set!
