Nine months later Juan Pablo is still coming up with excuses as to why he can't tell girlfriend Nikki Ferrell "I love you."
"Just because he hasn't said it to me doesn't mean I don't say it to him," said Nikki. "I don't expect him to say it back when I say it, and maybe one day he will."
Even more interesting -- the two have been trying to make their relationship work via long distance.
"I live in Miami, she lives in Kansas City," said Juan Pablo. "We have been all over the place."

According to Dr. Jenn Berman, viewers will get to see another side of the controversial couple.
"I think that the public is going to be so surprised to see the inside workings of their relationship, but also how vulnerable both of them get," said Dr. Jenn.
The new season of Couples Therapy launches Wednesday, September 10 9/8c on VH1.
