Saturday Night Live has landed the biggest breakout stars of 2014 for their season 40 premiere.
On Sept. 27, Guardians of the Galaxy actor Chris Pratt will host the show, while Ariana Grande will be his musical guest. This will be Pratt's first time hosting, and the 21-year-old "Problem" singer's first time performing on SNL.
After the Parks and Recreation star's big debut, Emmy winner Sarah Silverman shows up with Maroon 5 for the Oct. 4 show. Silverman was on SNL's staff from 1993-1994, but this too will be her first time ever hosting.
The 40th season of the iconic show will be celebrated on NBC with a live three-hour special on Feb. 15, 2015. Past and present cast members are said to be making an appearance.
Do you think Pratt and Silverman are good choices to guest host?
Heavens knows Pratt isn't any good at baseball. Check him out trying to throw out the first pitch at a MLB game.
