Jada Pinkett Smith is starring in one of the most anticipated TV series of the fall -- Gotham -- and she told ET's Rocsi Diaz what hubby Will Smith thinks of her bad girl character in FOX's Batman prequel.
"[Will] loves it," Jada said at the show's premiere at The New York Public Library on Monday night. "He says, 'See, that's the side they don't see right there.'"
Gotham is an origin story of the DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, focusing primarily on Commissioner Gordon's rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner. The series also imagines what spawned the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker.
While many similarities carried over from the comic books, Jada's role as mob boss, Fish Mooney, was created just for the series.
Gotham premieres September 22 on FOX. Watch the video to find out if Jada and Will's kids could make an appearance on the series.
