Fellow directors, collaborators and pals Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino sat down for an intimate and revealing conversation for El Rey Network's The Director's Chair, and ET has an exclusive preview of Part 2.
In the clip, Tarantino tells Rodriguez, the founder and chairman of El Rey Network, that people ask him, "When are you ever going to do a comedy?" His reply is, "What the hell are you talking about? All of my movies are really funny. I'll put my comedies against anybody out there, laugh for laugh."
Tarantino then makes the argument for why many of his movies, including Pulp Fiction, belong in the comedy section.
You can catch their full conversation when The Director's Chair, a series of hourlong specials that feature film directors interviewing each other about their craft, airs on El Rey Network on September 17 at 9 p.m. ET/ET.
