First Date Jitters:
Calling all Captain Swan fans, this one's for you! Now that the obstacles between Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) have finally vanished, it's time to watch the chemistry-charged couple experience some adorable firsts. "Captain Swan fans can look forward to seeing their first date," Kitsis triumphantly revealed to ETonline.

However Horowitz warns that you shouldn't freak out just yet! "Like most first dates, things don’t go as smoothly as you'd hope," he said. Yikes! Kitsis added, "It is still a drama and as much as we'd like to just have the two of them order pizza and watch Netflix, I think our fans – even though some of them would like to see that scene – would be bored." Ummm…. No we wouldn't. Give us pizza and Captain Swan cuddles!

Adding to the awkwardness of a new relationship, Emma is going to have a tough time getting her charming father to approve of her new bad boy beau. "What I'd like to see is Captain Hook get the father speech from Charming (Josh Dallas)," Kitsis teased. "I wouldn't let my daughter date a pirate!" Hmm… but would you let her live with one? Since the Jolly Roger is still M.I.A., will we get to see any Captain Swan sleepovers? "I would say [moving in together] is a bit fast," Horowitz said. "But I think Emma is going to realize this year that she needs her own place."

Royal Problems:
Last season we were crushed when Regina (Lana Parrilla) lost her happily ever after with Maid Marian's introduction, and it looks like we're going to start off this season where we left off. "We're going to pick up right after that and so she's really stunned," Horowitz revealed of our beloved queen. "She never though Marian was going to come back. She certainly didn't think Emma would travel back in time and ruin her life." Dun dun duuuun!

So what's next for our broken-hearted Regina? "It'll be interesting to see how she'll deal with this tragedy in her life because in the past, this would've been handled very simply: She'd go up to her, rip her heart out and that would be the end of it," Horowitz laughed. "Now she's got three seasons of growth and she's going to be tested for the first time and that's kind of what her arc is for the first ten. We're going to see how she handles that." All we know is we want plenty of Outlaw Queen moments, stat!

A Frozen Friendship:
Who else is thrilled to see Frozen's Elsa enter the world of Once Upon a Time? (You all should be raising your hands right now!) What if we were to tell you that in addition to perfecting her powers this season, Emma going to share some pretty magical scenes with our icy queen?

Kitsis explained, "What [Emma] and Elsa have in common is they're both two strong females with powers they don’t really understand and they have a lot of troubles because of that." Horowitz continued, "I think the Emma's magic will play a key role in this season. The goal of this season is her coming to terms with her powers and what she can and cannot do."

Fairy Tale Flashbacks:
We were thrilled to learn that Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) mother, played by the amazing Frances O'Connor, will be joining our spell-binding series for a bit this year, however fans should be aware that these mother/daughter scene will strictly be in flashback form. "The story is really going to be about Belle's time before she met Rumple, which is an area we kind of haven’t discovered," Kitsis explained.

In fact, we're going to be traveling back in time a lot this year in order to discover new sides to some of our favorite characters. "With our flashbacks this season, we're excited to explore the times before," Kitsis said. "We're going to get more into Emma growing up as a teenager, Charming before he met Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) when he was on the farm and many more." Who else is dying to see more of Bailee Madison as young Snow?!

Rumbelle Romance:
If you thought last season's Rumbelle wedding was swoon-worthy, you might want to take a seat for before you read this next sentence: "All the Rumbelle fans should be excited because in the premiere they're going to see the honeymoon," Kitsis spilled. Did you guys hear that?! The Honeymoon! And that's not all… "There is going to be a very iconic scene that the audience is going to go, 'I can't believe they haven't done that yet!' It is iconic [scene] from the film, but [set] in our modern world," he said. Our money is most definitely on the legendary Beauty and the Beast ballroom scene!

Additionally, the OUAT showrunners exclusively revealed to us that fans are in for an incredible treat when season four debuts. Horowitz explained, "In the premiere there is going to be a nod to something very iconic in the Disney lore that we have not talked about yet and we haven't yet referred to on the show." Adding to his partner's tease, Kitsis continued, "I would say Rumple (Robert Carlyle) is going to come into possession of something very iconic to Disney, and launch a story in a world that the audience is not expecting." Okay, who else thinks it could be the magical red rose with the withering petals? (Shout out your theories in the comments below!)
