Here's What You Need to Know:
Set in a sleepy small town, Gracepoint is a 10-episode miniseries centered on the mystery of who murdered a young boy found at the bottom of a cliff overlooking the ocean. If this plot is sounding familiar to any of you TV fans out there, you're not crazy. Gracepoint is a nearly identical remake of the 2013 eight-part British miniseries Broadchurch, which aired on BBC America and was also devoured by video-on-demand customers who are always hunting for a worthwhile binge. In face David Tennant once again plays the lead detective character that comes to town and is tasked with finding the murderer.

However, Broadchurch fans will be happy to know that around episode four, things in Gracepoint begin to veer away from the flagship series' plot and turn into a whole other world of captivating storytelling. And for those of you who have not seen the original series, that's even better! Gracepoint is a strong pilot that does a phenomenal job of not only setting up the mystery, but giving life to the town and the characters that inhabit it.
