After six seasons on NCIS: Los Angeles, there's no denying the chemistry between stars LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell. So when ETonline scored a special interview with the pair it was clear these two have developed quite the rapport off-screen as well.
"Chris is just a great person to work with," LL Cool J gushed about his co-star. "Great family, good guy, solid, swing a gold club good. Good guy."
"He's alright," Chris quipped back.
While they both come from very different backgrounds- O'Donnell, 44, by way of movies and LL Cool J, 46, by way of rap music- they've formed a real connection playing special-agent buddies on the hit CBS series. And the fans have been very passionate about their partnership since the beginning.
"We're very grateful," Chris says. "In our off-time we get to meet a lot of them and the reaction we get from them is amazing. They're very supportive."
So now that the show has reached the sixth season mark, how do the stars feel about translating that chemistry for the big screen?
"That would be pretty cool actually. I don't know when we'd find the time to do it," Chris joked. "Obviously being on network TV there's certain limits to what we can do so we'd have a completely different world to play with."
Watch the video for a preview from tonight's all-new episode and to find out Chris and LL's favorite crime fighting duo of all-time.
NCIS: Los Angeles airs Monday nights at 10/9c.
