Disney darling Danielle Panabaker, The Game's Candice Patton and Law in Order's Jesse L. Martin also round out this super cast.

Here's What You Need to Know: Grab some popcorn and snag a comfy seat because tonight's action-packed debut of The Flash is worthy of the big-screen. You all know the story: Barry Allen was just a regular, science-loving guy when he was struck with lightening and gifted with supernatural speed. However despite the familiar plot, The CW has charged this series with a fun and fresh tone, and this new version of our beloved DC superhero is both handsome and quirky. but laced with a dark and intriguing past.

Full of heart and jam-packed with action, the first episode of The Flash has something for everyone to love, whether you're a comic book fan or not. And unlike its brooding flagship series, Arrow, The Flash embraces the humor and lighthearted fun that comes with being a superhero.
