Soooo, there’s a video floating around the Internet today. It’s called “Too Many Cooks.” One of your friends or family members or a stranger (who cares!) will post a link and you’ll think, “What is this?” Then you’ll watch it, because that’s what we do on the Internet, right?

Or maybe you’ve already watched it. In which case, you know.

WATCH: Hilariously awkward news anchor can’t stop dancing!

Here are the facts: “Too Many Cooks” aired for a week straight on Adult Swim. At 4:00a.m. It was written by Chris “Casper” Kelly and starts as a seemingly straight-forward parody of ‘80s sitcoms…

And then spirals from there into...madness, is the only word for it.

Watch “Too Many Cooks” now (and yes, all 11 minutes are required viewing). Warning: It’s sometimes graphic, all the time completely effing nutballs crazy, and the song will be stuck in your head all day:

How did this come from someone’s brain?!

Kelly, who says he’s a fan of David Lynch and Charlie Kaufman, (kind of?) explained how to Entertainment Weekly, “It was probably one of those shower ideas that you don’t know what to do with...I’m just a fan of that kind of humor where you repeat something ad nauseum and then it becomes funny again."

Oh, and for the record? All those names? They’re the people’s real names.

It takes a lot to make a stew...
