If you're like us, you're probably anxiously awaiting the Pretty Little LiarsChristmas special. But, before we get to deck the halls and fa-la-la-la-la with our favorite Rosewood residents we've got an exclusive 'A' update that we’re just dying to share.

ETonline recently sat down with actress-turned-country-starletLucy Hale to find out how she would feel if Aria turns out to be ‘Big A’ at the end of the series.

“I would love that,” she revealed. “I think that as an actor everyone wants to play the bad guy so, whatever, it would be fun!”

Although the actress still does not know the identity of the liars’ text message tormentor, fans found out during the Halloween special this year that her co-stars Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson both know the truth.

But, sadly, no one is willing to spill the secret with Hale just yet.

“I've begged and begged and begged and they will not tell me,” Hale admitted. Not to worry, PLL fans! The brunette beauty spilled that she also has her own set of ideas on who ‘Big A’ is.

“This isn't coming from the writers or anyone that would have say in it,” she said. “But a lot of people think it might be one of the girls or one of the parents.”

Well we know one thing for sure: Despite his shady behavior, Aria’s beau, Ezra Fitz (Ian Harding), definitely is not ‘Big A.’

“It's obviously not Ezra anymore so… I kind of wished they would have saved that for the very end,” the 25-year-old revealed. “That Ezra would have been the ultimate 'A' because it's the ultimate twist, it's devastating.”

With all the crazy things the Liars have gone through, we had to know what Hale would like to see for Aria in the near future.

“I'd like to see her have some stability, [but] that will never happen on TV,” she joked. “I would love to see the show flash forward a little bit and have the girls go away and think that everything is fine and then their world comes crashing down on them once again.”

Check out our exclusive sit-down with Lucy Hale above to find out why she thinks it would "make sense" for Aria to be 'A' in the end!

Pretty Little Liars’ Christmas Specials airs Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
