EXCLUSIVE: 'Marry Me' Adds 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Nia Vardalos as Casey Wilson's Mom!
Step aside Megan Mullally — Casey Wilson has a new on-screen mama coming to town!
We’ve already said our vows to NBC's freshman series Marry Me, and now it looks like we've have yet another reason to fall in love with this new romantic comedy.
ETonline exclusively reports that My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Nia Vardalos has been tapped to play Pam, a former friend of the Kevins (Dan Bucatinsky and Tim Meadows) and Annie's (Wilson) biological mom.

So what's the story behind Annie's MIA mom? In Vardalos' episode, which is slated to air in January, fans will find out that Pam was an extremely motivated and ambitious young woman and she used her egg donor money to kick start her own business.
Annie will reconnect with Pam only to discover that her mom is even more amazing then she could've ever hoped. But after the initial charm wears off, we'll see that Pam's reasons for finally meeting Annie after all these years might not be with the best intentions.

As of now Vardalos is set to appear in one episode of Marry Me, but we could definitely be seeing more of the brunette beauty in the future.
