The scares are about to ramp up in the latest installment of NBC's twisted fairy-tale horror drama, Grimm, and Nick (David Giuntoli) is on the case!
ETonline scored an exclusive first look at Friday's episode, "Highway of Tears," that opens with Nick and his partner Hank (Russell Hornsby) taking a deep dive into some old-school 19th-century mythology that may explain why young couples have become target No. 1 in a series of odd events.
As the two find out more about the mysterious disappearances plaguing the town, they discover who may be behind them: a Komodo dragon-like figure called Phansigar. There's a very good reason why Phansigar preys on young couples every few years like clockwork -- and it's not pretty.
Hint: It has to do with tongues and human sacrifices. Creepy! Watch the clip to find out more about this mythical creature!
Grimm airs Fridays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
