'Bones' 200th Episode: David Boreanaz & Emily Deschanel Spill Everything You Need to Know!

ETonline was on set with stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz to celebrate Bones' landmark event and we've got the exclusive details that you absolutely need to know before tuning in.

When asked how it feels to be a part of such a long running series, Boreanaz spilled it's "hard to believe" that their hit procedural has been on for a whopping 10 seasons. The 45-year-old sweetly credits all of the show's time-flying-fun to his leading lady.
"We're blessed to have such great writers and a great crew and a great cast," Boreanaz said. "To be able to go in day in and day out with a great co-star like Emily, it makes my job a lot easier."
Likewise, Deschanel admitted that her on-screen partner-in-crime has brings a passion to set that is unmatched, especially when he's sitting in the director's chair. Fun fact: Boreanaz directed tonight's 200th episode, and he revealed that it took 14 days (versus the usual seven) to shoot the movie-worthy hour.

"He's a complete dream as a director," she gushed. "This was a huge episode, involving so many different elements, and a totally different time period. So many things to think about, and he did an amazing job."
Bones' 200th episode is an homage to the mystery and intrigue that filled Alfred Hitchcock's most notable films. "I play a jewel thief — kind of like To Catch a Thief — and Emily plays a detective," Boreanaz explained. "It's the Grace Kelly, Cary Grant type of thing. It takes place in Hollywood and I get framed for a murder."
