Not only is this a memorable moment for Rodriguez, these nominations are also making network history— these are the very first Globe mentions for The CW since the network debuted in 2006.

The 30-year-old actress was ET's "It" breakout star of the fall TV season and it seems the Hollywood Foreign Press Association agreed with our choice because Rodriguez is the only newbie nominee in a category packed with comedy veterans.
