Chris Pratt Makes Surprise Appearance in Hilarious People's Choice Sketch

The 'Parks and Rec' star helped his wife Anna Faris with hosting duties by appearing alongside her in the opening sketch.

While Chris Pratt did not attend the 2015 People's Choice Awards in person, the Parks and Recreation star helped his wife, Mom actress Anna Faris, open the show with an adorable sitcom-style scene that poked fun at his meteoric rise over the last year.

In the sketch, Pratt is going through a stack of scripts when Faris asks him for help.

"I would really appreciate it if you could make a teeny little appearance," she asks, hoping that he shows up to the People Choice Awards to support her.

"Oh… well, you know I'd do anything for you. I love you. But I'm super busy right now," Pratt responds. "I have, like, 11 movies to shoot by next Friday."

"Oh! Here's one for you," he added, digging through a mountain of scripts. "Oh, no, that's just a script called ‘Anna.’ Yah, they want me to star in it."

In the hilarious cold open, the two poke fun at each other's careers and People's Choice Awards co-host Allison Janney drops in as their cigar-smoking nanny.
