When in doubt — dance it out!
This week's all-new episode of Pretty Little Liars features a first in the hit ABC Family drama: A high-energy dance routine featuring two of Rosewood's best booty-shaking residents — and only ETonline has your exclusive first look.
We sat down with PLL's Shay Mitchell to discuss Emily and Hanna's (Ashley Benson) "spectacular" moves, the famous choreographer who created the sultry routine, and her close off-screen friendship with Benson.
Fans know (and love!) the friendship between Mitchell and Benson — more commonly known by their BFF nickname "Buttah-Benzo" — and Mitchell confessed that she was thrilled when the PLL writers came to them with this idea.
"Ashley is like my little sister and it's so much fun whenever we get to hang out,' the brunette beauty explained on the set of her dating show. SweeTARTS' Get Roped In. "Especially in these upcoming episode where we actually have a dance off."
In Tuesday's episode, Emily is showing off her smooth moves to "Bang Bang" by Jessie J., Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj to help Hanna snag the crown (and that college scholarship!) in her upcoming beauty pageant.
Mitchell explained, "It was really fun because in preparation for those we got to work with Charm [La Donna], who's an amazing choreographer, and we just had so much fun rehearsing for it." PLL fun-fact: it was actually Mitchell and Benson's mutual friend, Selena Gomez, who connected the stars with La Donna and her amazing moves.
"I'm excited for the fans to get to see [our dance]," Mitchell gushed. "Ashley is spectacular in that episode, she is so funny. She's a great friend of mine, as are the rest of the girls too!"

Pretty Little Liars airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
