Matt Bomer
will be checking into American Horror Story: Hotel.

The White Collar actor has been tapped to star opposite Lady Gaga in the fifth installment of the FX anthology series. The news of Bomer's casting was announced at the end of Sunday's PaleyFest panel of AHS: Freak Show, and although the details of his character are currently being kept hush-hush, it has been revealed that the actor will be playing Hotel's male lead.

"I can't really specify too much. I can't confirm or deny that it may be a romantic relationship [with me and Lady Gaga]," Bomer teased to the PaleyFest crowd.

Bomer is no stranger to Ryan Murphy's diverse world of television shows. In addition to a brief and bloody guest appearance on AHS: Freak Show, the 37-year-old actor won a Golden Globe and a Critics Choice TV Award for his role in Murphy’s HBO movie The Normal Heart. Additionally, Bomer and his baby-blue-eyes guest starred in Fox's Glee and NBC's The New Normal.

Bomer added that on Freak Show, he "only got to dip [his] toes in the freaky-deaky nature of this show," so he's "ready to go to the deep end, baby" on Hotel.

Adding to the Hotel guest list, it was also announced that Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock) will also star in the FX drama, but once again his character details are being kept under wraps

But while two stars check in to the anthology series, another is officially checking out.

After much speculation, Jessica Lange has confirmed that she will not be starring in the next chapter of American Horror Story.

"We've had a great run here," says Lange. "I mean, I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. And in all the madness, I've loved my writers and the actors and Ryan and the whole insanity of it. ... but yes, I'm done."
