Once again Ashley Tisdale is stepping in front of the camera tonight on her hit ABC Family comedy series Young and Hungry, and she's bringing a blazin' good time!
Tisdale, who is an executive producer on the series, is reprising her role as Logan Rawlings – a tatted-up magazine editor who quickly took a liking to everything Gabi (Emily Osment) was cooking.
"Logan comes back and it's a really fun episode," Tisdale teased to ETonline. "Gabi is really kind of wanting to move ahead and get further in her cooking career, so she reconnects with Logan since Logan works for San Francisco Magazine."
The 29-year-old actress continued, "There's an editorial thing on cooking and she tells Gabi it would be really cool if she did some cooking with marijuana, and that puts Gabi in a situation that she's never been in before. We all know she's a really great cook but she's like, 'Oh my gosh can I do this?'"
Tisdale explained that she's thrilled that ABC Family was so accepting of this "edgy" episode. "It's really awesome that they kind of let us really push the boundaries over there," she said. "It's just something that I love with my production company that we produce projects that I want to watch and I want to consume. And as I've gotten older, the content that I want to produce has gotten older, so it's really nice that ABC Family lets us be a little edgier."
The last time fans saw Logan, she and Gabi shared a steamy smooch, but Tisdale revealed that there's no mention of Gabi and Logan's former fling in tonight's episode.
"Actually we don’t reference that at all, but I think Logan is a little bit more bitchy this time because that didn’t work out," the blond beauty explained. "So I think she's giving Gabi more attitude and is almost kind of resentful."
Young and Hungry is all-new Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
