Oh baby!

Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is finally going into labor on tonight's season one finale of Jane the Virgin and we're in for a roller coaster ride of an episode.

So what should we expect to see while Jane's expecting? "You can expect to see everything you've seen this season culminate and all the stories are going to reach a point that's just so perfectly crafted thanks to [showrunner] Jennie Urman and the brilliant writers," star Justin Baldoni spilled to ETonline.

"It's got the heart, it's got the comedy, it’s got the shock, it's got the surprise, and it's going to leave you in a way that you're so mad that you're going to have to wait four months to continue it," he said.

After countless twists and turns and two heart-crushing, Jane-centric break-ups, our leading lady Is headed into labor without a boyfriend by her side, but Baldoni thinks it's for the best. "I think it’s really important for all the different [shipper] teams to all kind of come together and wind up on one team and that's Team Jane," the actor explained. I think Jane, at the end of the day, is the only one who matters."

He continued, "The guys can come and go. Who is right for her, and whose qualities are best for her, who's more romantic, who's more adventurous, who's more safe -- all of these things are questions that I think Jane needs to really ask herself. And I hope that we'll see through these experiences how they've proven themselves over time and who has her best interest at heart."

Romance aside, fans should be prepared for an epic ending. "You can expect to see a cliffhanger so big that people are literally going to be angry that they have to wait four months for season two," Baldoni dished. "When we all read it, the entire cast got up and you couldn’t hear anything because we were all screaming. Judging by the way that we all reacted, I think the fans will react in a similar way."

Baldoni also offered a piece of advice for fans before tuning in tonight: "I would say that they should remove any sharp objects from anywhere around them while watching it just in case they get angry and decide to throw things," he laughed. "Just get ready because it's going to be a wild ride."

Jane the Virgin's season finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. on The CW.
