Kris Jenner Aims to Give Families Hope in E!'s 'About Bruce' Special

The heart-wrenching two-part special, Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce starts on Sunday, and Kris Jenner opened up to ET about why she wanted to be a part of it.

"The sole reason was to show other people going through the same thing, what their family might go through," Kris told ET. "To give people hope, because we had never been through something like this before."

A clip from the special, shows Kris reminiscing on her former marriage to Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner over home videos of the couple early on in their romance.

"We had so much in common that it was kind of a match made in heaven," Kris says in a promo. "We could not keep our hands off each other."

Twenty-four years after saying "I do," Bruce made his transgender announcement in a 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer. The special shows the families journey as they support Bruce through his transition.

"Kris is a really good woman, and I love her to death," Bruce says in a promo for the special. "The love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming."
