Ever since Gilmore Girls left our small screens in 2007, Stars Hollow fans have been begging for some kind of a revival to happen.
Whether it be a movie, a mini-season or even just for one glorious episode, rumors have been running rampant lately after star Scott Patterson recently hinted that something was in the works.
But at the 15th anniversary reunion panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino finally set the story straight.
"There's nothing in the works at the moment," the showrunner told the packed crowd on Saturday night.
But don't shed too many tears just yet, Gilmore fans. According to Palladino, there's still hope for a revival to happen!
"Here's the good thing: Nobody here hates each other. It would have to be the right everything -- the right format, the right timing," she said. "It would have to be honored in a certain way. If it ever came around, I think we would all jump in and do it."
Palladino added, "If it ever happened, I promise we'll do it correctly."
